The Inbetweeners Movie

Pure hilarity. I can't explain it any more than this, I loved the series' and so I watched the film on the day of release with Beth, and we definitely weren't disappointed! The entire crowd was in hysterics every few minutes, and it wasn't all teens as i would have expected. The audience varied from obvious 15 year olds (possibly 14's that lied about their age) up to a guy that was sat opposite us that looked about 60! The film is much like the series, but it has a few extra gross bits and a fair bit of male nudity. This all adds to the funny parts though and I for one wished the film didn't have to end when it did!

Re-vamp!

Easy A

I wasn't too sure about this film from the trailers, it looked very girly. However, it was just a very good film. It was filmed in a way i have never seen, it is narrated by the main character, through a video diary, that we see from time to time, and then it also has scenes like a regular film. The video diary then comes into the film later on and really makes it a full round movie. A great experience! I shan't say any more because it will give away parts f the film, but if you have any free time, I definitely recommend watching this!

Inception

Hi guys, im Beth, Matt's girlfriend!
Matt is at work so I thought I would have a shot at posting something on his blog:)

We went to see Inception in the cinema last year. This film has got to be one of our favourites! The concept of the film was something I personally had never seen before in a film, however it was a very gripping, exciting story line. I have never been a huge fan of Leanardo Dicaprio, but i thought he played the main character very well! I have to say the first half an hour of this film was a bit confusing, as the film was trying to put across the idea of a dream within a dream, within a dream...so to start with it felt quite muddled...BUT after getting the concept round my head it was fantastic. I have to say my favourite part of the film was when Leanardo was showing Ellen page (the architect, who had to design the worlds) how to design the worlds, without using past memories. The scene where she turned the city upside down was particularly outstanding!
Overall a fantastic film. Characters were excellent, story line gripping yet moving.

The Walking Dead (series 1)

Although this isn't a film, i feel i have to talk about it, this series (based on the comics) is absolutely perfect!  If you love zombie shows, you will absolutely love this show! The first series was released last year and it was absolutely breathtaking! I don't think i could fault anything in it at all, the perfect amount of everything made it one of my favourite shows of all time, and there has only been 6 episodes! I can't wait until the second series comes out this autumn, its going to be EPIC! a MUST see!
